Surfer's First Aid Kit

 

Whenever you are surfing, you should always carry a first aid kit in your car. You do not need to go out and purchase a first aid kit, all of the supplies can be found at your local pharmacy.

 

Here are the essentials:

 

Iodine, Alcohol, or Hydrogen Peroxide to clean your wounds

Cotton Balls, squares, or qtips

Bandaids in many different sizes

bandage pads for bigger wounds

Bandage tape

A few long strips of cloth that could be used as a torniquette or to stop bleeding

Antibacterial solution, such as neosporing

Scissors

Knife

Tweezers

Needle

First Aid book about the ocean

Cell Phone - to call for help

Any medications that you may require i.e. insulin, asthma, allergy, etc.
